The pandemic highlighted the impact of a long-term emergency on students and schools. To better prepare for foreseeable problems in the future, examining adherence to recommended prevention measures can provide school administrators with feedback that can inform policies when disease outbreaks occur. This presentation highlights the steps to conduct observational projects in a K-12 school setting. Attendees will gain the skills to help their school collect data enabling real-time monitoring and feedback around mitigation adherence.
